My photography journey began during my childhood when I regularly enjoyed watching nature documentaries with my family, sparking dreams of experiencing the enchanting world of animals. I also think it was heavily influenced by seeing tigers in those shows, and my dad telling me to enjoy it because they would probably be gone by the time I grew up.
I got my first “high-quality” digital camera at the age of 14. After a few months of using it, I knew I wanted more. I saved up and, within a year, upgraded to my first DSLR.
A 2019 college trip to the Maasai Mara in Kenya changed my photography from a fun hobby to something I take seriously. After that trip, I became more committed to learning better techniques, seeking out local wildlife, sharing it on Instagram, and eventually getting published in some independent magazines.
