About Me

Hi! I’m Melissa!

I work in marketing and advertising, and everything in between those roles. Do you need a graphic designer? I’ll give you three different versions, and resize them for all the places they need to go. Working on WordPress or Squarespace? I’ve worked on lots of websites on those platforms and am great at finding creative solutions to weird web design problems. Digital files are a total mess? Naming conventions are one of my favourite things in the world.

Before getting into the marketing and advertising world, I worked at my family’s pet store, starting at the age of 10. While I initially had to scrub algae off tanks, I eventually worked my way up into managing social media accounts, creating documents for both customer and staff education, and managing. This work taught me a lot about working with the public and sharing your joy and passion for something with people.

As much as I love marketing and advertising work, the thing I love best in the world is wildlife. Take a peak at any other page on my website and you’ll see what I mean. In my downtime, I’m either out in the world photographing whatever I find, or I’m watching faraway places from the comfort of my home (and planning some ethical travel!).

I’m seeking a role where I can merge my digital skills with my lifelong love of the environment and all of its inhabitants.
