Blackie Spit and Crescent Beach are a bird watcher’s dream. Regular British Columbia birds flock to this place, but so do the migratory birds that we love to see every year.

I have personally photographed Snow Buntings, Red-Tailed Hawks, Pacific Loons, Savannah Sparrows, Sanderlings, Greater Yellow Legs, and Greater Scaup here, but there is far more to see than that.
